Testimonials

Part of the Care Commission inspection process requests feedback from carers and recent comments from the Care Commission Inspection Report 2016 have included:

SADSA has been a lifeline for my (relative) and myself and has allowed us both to live through very difficult times.  I cannot praise this organisation highly enough, I am forever in their debt.

My (relative) has vascular dementia and has obviously no memory in the short term but I am happy with the service provided for him.

My relative going to Eglinton Terrace has been a great benefit for her and she enjoys going very much.  Every carer is so good.  Thank you all.

All of the staff that I have come into contact with have all been very friendly and competent.  This gives me peace of mind when my (relative) is in their care.

I have nothing but the highest regard and admiration for the service that (the manager) and the team deliver.  I know that my (relative) is safe, secure and happy in their care and more importantly, he eagerly awaits the time he spends there.  Every member of their staff deserves recognition for their friendly, caring, dedicated, empathetic and professional manner in which they meet the needs of each individual client and their families.  Thank you SADSA.

Carers’ Quotes from SADSA Carer Questionnaires

My satisfaction with the service at SADSA, Ayr, has, with all justification, remained at a very high level since my mother took up the service several years ago. (A. Paterson)

Since my husband first attended SADSA, it has provided him with an enhanced quality of life.  Staff members’ professionalism is matched by their caring, giving, dedicated and empathetic manner – nothing is ever too much trouble.  They honour my husband’s dignity and respect him for who he is.  These values are a reflection of the leadership that their manager, Liz, gives.  I know that my husband is in a safe and stimulating environment.

I can give no greater endorsement of this service than, I believe, my husband would gladly spend all his time there, if it were possible! (S. Cunningham)

The carers from SADSA are bright & jovial in personality and many times when mum wishes to speak but cant (because of dementia) they can anticipate her needs & fill the awkward silence & make mum feel at ease & comfortable & part of the company.

Both of my parents attend SADSA, they thoroughly enjoy their trips to Eglinton Terrace. They are keen to go, and both participate in the many and varied activities. Both are well looked after well. All the staff are friendly and caring.(B.Morrison)

I would have not believed the support offered to my mother and I. SADSA said they would do everything they could to support us – and they did.

Affordable, available high quality day care delivered with warmth and integrity – unbeatable.

Person centred care for both client and carer. Unbeatable on accessibility, affordability and quality.
