Elizabeth (Liz) Campbell is Manager of SADSA day care services in both Ayr and Prestwick. Liz joined SADSA in 1996 as a Senior Support Worker and was promoted to Manager in the year 2000.
Liz, originally from the north-east of Scotland, qualified as a nurse in 1974 and from then she has developed wide knowledge and experience over the years. Liz initially nursed at a general hospital and then worked in both comprehensive and public schools (as Nurse and Matron). Liz has practised in a number of different industries (oil, gas and food) through the British Nursing Association and also cared for people at home as a Marie Curie nurse. Liz ran her own private nursing agency for a number of years before moving to Ayr in 1996 (as a result of her husband’s transfer as a government official). Liz has enjoyed all aspects of her nursing experience and finds her work with SADSA most satisfying and enjoyable. Liz has pride in providing a specialist service for SADSA and with a dedicated team, delivers excellent care at a high standard wich is currently upheld by the Care Inspectorate Report produced.
